National / Regional Tactical Support Officers
There are openings for the employment of Tactical Support Officers within the Cash in Transit environment of the Eastern Cape in order to tactically escort Cash in Transit vehicles.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, escorting high-risk vehicles, responding to incidents and providing tactical support, monitoring and moving in formations to protect assets in transit, and communicating and reporting suspicious activity and individuals. Officers must be able to work irregular hours, handle high-risk incidents, and function under pressure.

Principal responsibilities: (not all-inclusive):
10th or 12th grade as a minimum educational requirement.
Valid PSIRA Grade B/A registration.
Armed Reaction PSIRA enrollment.
Essential Firearm requires both tactical training and related experience. Essential Handgun and Rifle Proficiency for Business Purposes.
Experience operating a firearm tactically or in a comparable environment is required.
A valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Advanced driving skills are preferred.
Capability to effectively communicate in English & make sure your Medical and physical fitness evaluations will be necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & OTHER COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
At least two to three years of experience in escorting or tactical escorting in an environment where the carrying of a firearm for business purposes was required.
Clear criminal record.
Capability to respond, monitor, and deploy tactically to protect assets in transit operations.
Capability to respond in a timely manner to emergency situations that may escalate into confrontations based on the operational risk profile.
Required skills include administration, interpersonal communication, and customer liaison.
Excellent comprehension of the assets in transit environment.
Must be able to employ a variety of tactical strategies for the protection of assets and deal with a variety of situations.
Must be able to move within the region on a weekly basis.
CORE CAPABILITIES:
Excellent communicative abilities.
The Firearm Control and Criminal Procedures Act is comprehended.
A comprehensive comprehension of the Assets in Transit environment.
Strong understanding of the Security Industry and how to act within the Group’s and Regulatory Authority’s code of conduct.
Solid comprehension of the fundamental elements pertaining to the tactical applications of firearms in an operational capacity.
